Let me underline 3 very important results and impacts we achieved together:

• The number and geographical reach of membership: this itself has an impact on what we do and who we are; going beyond the EU and bringing together Europeans from various horizons is in my view a very positive thing in a time of difficulties;
• The various activities which were developed, for and with our Members (including Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs and Peer Exchanges), aim to promote better governance and management of the Third Sector organisations we lead;
• The strong image we were able to build at European level as a body, bringing expertise and testimony of practitioners to help strengthen the advocacy efforts of our sector.

But this is only the beginning and there is a lot more to be done. We need to strengthen our presence through national bodies in countries where Euclid Network does not yet gather enough leaders. We need to reinforce our social network and clarify the specific requirements of people who call on us with differing motivations. We have also to concentrate more of our efforts on activities which have the most value for our Members.

Euclid Network is coming out of its infancy and is maturing, which presents new areas and new challenges to be tackled. We enter a time where engagement, leadership and mobilisation of civil society is critical!
