Euclid Network is now participating in the fourth cycle of the highly successful Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme. 
A recent press release by the European Commission explains how more than 1,600 exchanges (approximately 10 percent of which the Euclid Network-led consortia has contributed to over the last 3 years) have so far been organised under this programme and 3,200 businesses have been created or expanded. Since 2009, Euclid Network and a wide range of other organisations have assisted "would-be" entrepreneurs armed with a coherent business plan or entrepreneurs who started their own business in the last three years to gain valuable skills and experience in a business abroad which is participating in the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme (CIP).
94% of participating new entrepreneurs and 85% of host entrepreneurs report that the programme has helped them to set up or extend development their business.

Accession to the European Union is a key political objective for the Western Balkans and Turkey. As part of the process, candidate countries go through an often complex transformation to bring them in line with values shared by existing Member States. The role of civil society in giving citizens a voice and holding governments to account in this process is crucial.
We are looking for 3 key experts to support the Technical Assistance for Civil Society project (TACSO2). Knowledge of one or more local languages is essential and we are seeking experts who have worked regionally in several of the beneficiary countries. Network for Europe have produced a bulletin rounding up the latest information on the future EU Structural Funds Programme, which will run from 2014 to 2020.
Headlines
The latest guidelines from BIS to the LEPs have now been sent out. They say more about the role of the LEPs and their wider partners, support available, and the timetable for implementation. They reinforce the requirement for greater involvement of civil society and partnership working, and have specific references to Social Enterprise, Social Innovation and Local Impact Funds.
