Partners wanted for DFID funding

Ilyas Safarli, a Euclid Network member from Social-Economic Innovation Center, Azerbeijan, is searching for UK-based NGO's to partner with their project, Rural Economic Empowerment Program.

Summary
The Rural Economic Empowerment Program (REEP) seeks to expand economic opportunities and income security through community mobilization, workflow education, skills training, network and linkage creation and local economic development.
The program will be implemented initially in 6 organization-selected, pilot rural villages in the Qakh, Zaqatala, Belakan regions.
Project objectives
Objective of the Rural Economic Empowerment program (REEP):
- Enhance business opportunities in given geographic area
- Foster business skills and entrepreneurship among community members
- Create linkages with market players
- Mobilize local government for practical actions in support of community economic development
- Accomplishing all these objectives while incorporating gender equality
