Programmes and Campaigns

As a network of leaders, Euclid Network (EN) focuses on four key programme areas which represent challenges for every third sector leader.

All of our work; our membership benefits and projects, fall under one or several of these programmes using the latest web 2.0 technology and the EN methodology of connecting leaders across borders and strengthening networks for cross-border collaboration.

Connecting leaders

Peer-learning

Where strong leaders are required to build a strong European civil society, EN develops leaders through connecting them; allowing its members from across the sector and from all corners of Europe to engage in knowledge sharing and peer-learning.

Learn more about our Erasmus-inspired programme for our members to promote cross-border peer-learning in partnership with the European Commission, discounted training courses and how we help support the establishment of national groups of third sector leaders.

Funding sustainably and innovatively

Sustainable funding

For many of our members, the recession has highlighted and reinforced the importance for organisations to develop a culture of sustainable financial management. On the other hand, donors and grant makers need to increase the scale and effectiveness of funding available.

Learn how we promote a better usage of existing resources and the development of new sources of income through, the reform of European funding, the establishment of a European Bank for social investments and supporting our members in innovative fundraising and developing the social enterprise business model.

Good governance workshop, Paris

Good governance

Good governance is crucial for all third sector organisations and is varied across Europe. But with the European Union funding civil society projects across Europe, is it possible for organisations to adopt a shared framework for governance?

Learn about our research project looking for shared principles of good governance across Europe with a view to establishing a common European code as well as our good governance workshops and resources.

Raising the profile of the sector

Soft power (lobbying and advocacy)

Civil society across Europe is no longer just an 'add on' but is central to providing solutions to some of Europe's most pressing social problems including an ageing society, the environment and the delivery of public services.

We promote the reputation of the sector, communicating its contribution to the European project and the ways in which the EU matters to the sector. We spread the message through articles, speeches, events, consultations, videos, and social networks.
