altIn every region, Euclid Network works with a commitment to fostering a strong and innovative civil society and social enterprise sector. Within the EU, this direction is achieved through a focus on influencing the policy-making process and working in partnership with members and partners on innovative projects. As well as providing a strong link between practitioners on the ground and the institutions of the EU, Euclid Network works with governments at national level, including a strategic partnership with the Cabinet Office of the British Government and collaborations with the Italian government.

Euclid Network is involved in several structural dialogues hosted by the Commission, including the Europe for Citizens programme under DG Communication, and is involved in the Programming Committee within the TACSO project, appointed by DG Enlargement. We lead the campaign to Reform the Financial Regulation. In addition, Euclid Network’s Executive Director Filippo Addarii was selected as a member of the new Commission Group of Experts (Groupe d'Experts de la Commission sur l'entrepreneuriat social – ‘GECES'). This expert group, which held its first meeting in June this year, was set up by the Directorate General Internal Market and Services following the Communication on Commissioner Barnier's Social Business Initiative.

We also work to build networks of change-makers in connect them, and we have local champions in most EU countries who work together with us to create this strong civil society.

Many of Euclid Network's pilot projects, including the International Social Innovation Competition: Naples 2.0 were held in this region.
