• Held events which reflected on the transition experience of new member states - democracy support and civil society development;
• Worked together to try and understand their relevance to ENP/Eastern Partnership and Western Balkans;
• Connected sustainability questions: financial sustainability and social innovation;

To kick-start the presidency Demnet and Euclid Network held the first Hungarian Presidential event "Emerging Actors of Financial Markets", in Budapest on January 13-14th, which showcased the importance of cross sector collaboration in developing innovative solutions to contemporary societal challenges, which is central to Euclid Network programmes areas - such as Social Innovation and the Reform of European Funding.
